Motorsport news from Dorset Sports Cars

Dorset Sports Cars have raced in many championships and series. We regularly race in the Porsche Club Championship with our 911 C2 (996)  and 968CS. Paul’s passion for the class 1 911 sees him regularly near the front of the field. Tim prefers the class 2 968CS with its fine balance and poise and often leads the class, beating more modern machinery along the way.

We also have a Porsche 996 GT3 Cup car that gets the odd outing in other series when time allows. We raced this car in the Britcar 24hr  in 2011 and you can read more about that on these pages.

We hope you enjoy reading our blog. We try and keep it up to date, but as this is our hobby sometimes web updates get put on the back burner as more pressing things take precedence.

If you find yourself at a race why not come and see us!

The 968 had upgraded suspension at Thruxton […]

Dorset Sports Cars Racing in 2011

First of all, apologies for not posting about our Brands Hatch meeting in April. Unfortunately, I was struck down with illness and missed everything after qualifying. We did OK at the meeting with two freshly prepared cars making the grid and finishing reasonably well in the Porsche Club Championship and our GT3 running in the […]
